My favorite time of year...fall!

This is the best time of year for us. Football starts again and homecoming is something we always look forward to. Fall decorating, fall baking, pumpkin carving and fall food in general are all some of my favorite things.

One tradition in our family is an annual Cider Press Party. We invite friends over to press apples down to cider and everyone takes a jug home. We have a bonfire, s’mores, lots of yummy food, great conversation and the kids LOVE it – which is why the gathering gets bigger every year. I also like to have a fun, easy crafts for the little ones.

Some of our close friends, the Veslany’s, introduced this tradition to us, and I thank them for such a great idea that has become a great way to gather with friends. Bring on the cider!
